The Phoenix is a mythical bird that dies but rises from the ashes to live again. It's a symbol of resurrection and rebirth. The entire industry was shocked when Ed Drees announced the closing of Dress Wood Products. He is respected like no one else.

Over 17 years ago, Ed Drees gave me, Eric Schultz, and my sister, Nicole Ranucci, the opportunity to represent his company. This experience has allowed us to become knowledgeable in our industry, and to form meaningful relationships with many of you along the way.

There will never be another Drees, but our Phoenix logo is a tribute to Drees Wood Products. In establishing our own small business, Phoenix-Direct, it is our commitment to attempt to emulate the same high level of personal service that Drees offered for over 40 years.
